Read to Succeed For Libraries

The Chicago Wolves are proud to enter the 27th season of their “Read To Succeed” program for libraries. More than 750,000 children and 100 libraries in the Chicago area have participated in the program throughout the years, presented by JULIEBeforeYouDig.com, since its inception.

Regardless of whether the Wolves meet with young people in libraries or via computer, the Read To Succeed program’s goal is to encourage each young participant to spend more time in libraries and take advantage of the valuable resources they have to offer — as well as understand the benefits of reading as a recreational tool.

But young readers don’t have to visit their local library in order to make reading pay off. You can still win a free ticket to any 2024-25 Wolves game by showing us you’ve achieved your reading goals! Take a photo or scan in your completed reading log (see below) to [email protected] to receive your free ticket!

Skates and a member of the Chicago Wolves staff will join your library’s gathering for a virtual Storytime with Skates! Choose one of Skates’ favorite books and we will read it to the group to encourage reading and positive themes.
