As Associate Director, Auto Test Development at Consumer Reports’ Auto Test Center in Colchester, Connecticut, Alex Knizek ensures CR’s testing and reporting reflect what is important to consumers and are current with technological advancements in the industry. He was previously an Ergonomics Engineer at Ford Motor Company, where he worked on the design of interior components and infotainment systems, benchmarked competitive vehicles, and conducted usability testing.
Alex holds a master’s degree in automotive engineering from Clemson University and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Western New England University.
