Alexandra Grose is senior policy counsel for Consumer Reports’ sustainability policy team, which focuses on government policy and industry approaches to clean energy, environmental reforms, and other sustainability issues.
Alexandra joined CR in 2022 after three years as counsel and legislative director in the New York State Senate and Assembly, pushing for stronger environmental protections on behalf of disadvantaged and low-income communities.
She worked in-house for General Electric and the General Aviation Manufacturers Association in Washington, D.C. on federal environmental issues around air quality, energy, and clean fuels, and she served as law clerk in the office of the chief counsel for the U.S. Department of Energy.
Alexandra received her bachelor’s degree from the University at Buffalo and her law degree from Vermont Law School.
