Debra Kalensky has a broad background in consumer, organizational, and educational research, assessment, and measurement.
As Associate Director, Survey at Consumer Reports, Debbie has conducted both qualitative and quantitative research. Some survey topics of focus include: broadband access, social media, and data privacy. In addition, she has moderated several online discussion panels covering a wide array of consumer-centric issues, including impacts of COVID, managing medical costs, and online platform accountability.
Prior to joining CR, Debbie served as the Director of Assessment Development at Questar Assessment, Inc. where she managed a team of content development specialists and supervised all aspects of item and test development for multi-million dollar state education contracts. Previously, she worked as an Education Assessment Consultant.
Debbie holds a B.A. in Psychology from State University of New York, College at Oswego and a M.A. and Ph.D. in I/O Psychology from The University of Georgia.
