Gabe Shenhar is Associate Director at Consumer Reports’ Auto Test Center in Colchester, Connecticut. He has vast hands-on testing experience and diverse automotive knowledge. He spearheaded the introduction of CR’s electric vehicle testing and leads the program today. In his 30+ years at CR, he has tested and evaluated more than 2,000 vehicles.
Gabe keeps up to date on the latest developments in advanced driver-assistance systems, infotainment systems, and user experience. He was key in developing and refining CR’s testing and scoring protocol. He also initiated some of CR’s first special autos publications. He is a regular panelist on CR’s Talking Cars podcast.
Gabe holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the New Jersey Institute of Technology.
