Offering them access to some of the self-assesment tests from ISACA to prepare for certifications as CISA and CISM is a good exercise to engage with the different employees that want to validate their knowledge, with the extra motivation that if they are successful, they can be promoted to be a Cybersecurity ambassador in the company and get access to certificates that can improve their CV and career.

“Every system is hackable” - that should be what I will begin with everyday i start work with them- Over confidence in cybersecurity will always lead to error- hence failure. So to start, i will take the time to educate them on newer hacking techniques which they most likely wont know how to address them, as a team leader, its my duty to read- Research and understand these new exploits used by cyber criminals-> such that i can be better placed to educate them on why they need to kill that self confidence and keep up learning and researching on new methods to prevent these new hacking attempts. At the end, no one knows everything, not even a library.
