To overcome doubts about your public speaking abilities and prove your qualifications, consistent practice is the answer. Work on internalising your speech in language comfortable to you. Do not learn by rote which leads to a robotic delivery. Understand the main subtext of your speech and work on your intonation and tone. For eg- a paragraph written with the intention to motivate the audience needs to be delivered in a motivating tone of voice. Modulate your voice, enunciate the key words and work on how to engage with an audience. Practice in front of a mirror & record yourself. Also practice in front of a small group of peers & take feedback to implement. Join speaking clubs like Toastmasters to build confidence & get experience.

Stand tall, make eye contact, and speak clearly. Confidence is contagious! Start Small: Volunteer for a low-pressure presentation or join a public speaking group to gain experience in a supportive environment. By focusing on your strengths, actively improving, and building experience, you can overcome self-doubt and become a strong public speaker.

It also means: - webinars - podcasts - videos (which you can create yourself) - your own posts (e.g.: on LinkedIn) All of which are recorded and easy to provide as reference. If you don't have enough (or any) of these to show, then you need to re-evaluate if you can truly call yourself a public speaker.
