Tell the story as if you were sharing with a child in grade school to make sure you make any technical information less technical for those that might not know what you are talking about otherwise.

Most pentesters are very technical but might not have the soft skills required to be successful when interacting with clients. Unfortunately, many pentesters don't see the need for soft skills such as the ability to establish the rules of the engagement with the client, prepare a Final Findings Report or deliver it in a presentation for executive leadership.
