🌟Hurricane Beryl Recovery Update for 12 Oaks Communities 🌟 Dear Families and Friends, We are pleased to share that our 12 Oaks communities in the Houston area are steadily recovering from Hurricane Beryl. Our team has been working tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of all our residents. Several of our communities have been operating on generator power, but rest assured that all essential services are being maintained. Our residents are receiving their medications and meals on schedule, and we are committed to providing the highest level of care and comfort during this recovery period. We are incredibly proud of our residents and staff for their resilience and positive spirits during this challenging time. Your support and understanding mean the world to us. We will continue to keep you updated on our progress and any significant developments. Thank you for being a part of our 12 Oaks family. Stay safe and take care.

In my role as Director of Learning & Development at 12 Oaks Senior Living, I tell everyone who wants to learn more about our company to watch and/or listen to the 12 Oaks podcast. There's a wealth of information in them and you get to see and hear from 12 Oaks leaders from across our organization. Take a look and listen to Dick Blaylock (12 Oaks CEO) and Greg Puklicz (12 Oaks President) as they talk about how Dick and his family started 12 Oaks Senior Living. I especially LOVE the part where Dick recalled how (back in the mid to late 80s) his grandparents moved into and lived in the 12 Oaks Retirement Village in East Dallas, and because he was leading marketing & leasing at the time, he was there every day and had the chance to have lunch with his grandparents several times a week! Did You Know: The original 12 Oaks community that Charlie Blaylock (the father of Dick Blaylock, CEO of 12 Oaks Senior Living) built back in 1984 was called 12 Oaks Retirement Village. It was built in South Irving at the southeast corner of Union Bauer and Britain Road. It was on a little three-acre parcel which was a carve out of a much larger track. And this was originally a farm, and the name of that farm was 12 Oaks. So grateful to work for a company that lives out its core values of Character, Competency, Stewardship, and Servanthood!
