His training in different trades before joining Adirondack Studios Middle East has enabled him to understand and excel in business and project management. Similarly, his experiences in such diverse industries as Healthcare, Restaurant, Theming, and Volunteering have instilled in him both a problem-solving mentality and a strong commitment to quality. In his leisure hours, Akia loves hiking, cooking, volunteering, and watching medical research videos. Welcome to a space of wonder, imagination and possibility, where anyone can create, and everything is possible... ✨ Congratulations to everyone involved in the creation of Mayor Clayton’s WonderLab at Give Kids The World Village! The WonderLab is an immersive, accessible STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) activity center designed to inspire curiosity; foster collaboration; and spread childlike wonder to visitors of the Give Kids the World Village, an 89-acre nonprofit resort in Kissimmee, FL that provides children with critical illnesses and their families from around the world with magical week-long wish vacations at no cost. ADKS’ scope included a full renovation and reimagining of an existing space and afforded us the opportunity to serve as General Contractor for the various subcontractors, as well as collaborating with specialty lighting designers and other artisans and builders on the project. We enjoyed bringing to life the design of MigaMe Inc. by fabricating and installing the Wonderbots, Brilliance Bottler, interactive activities and theming throughout the WonderLab’s six unique spaces. It was a true group effort to create such a one-of-a-kind learning center for families and kids to enjoy. As the youngest member of her family, she developed resilience and adaptability, shaping her journey to pursue her aspirations. For the past six years, Dubai has become her home, where she has immersed herself in practicing her career professionally, focusing primarily on accounting and operations support. Mary's previous work experiences help her to gain insights into international business practices and financial management in a multinational context. Outside of work, Mary enjoys activities such jogging, biking, and occasional sports, usually preferring a quiet evening at home over bustling social scenes. With a mind for numbers and a global perspective, we have no doubt that Mary will contribute greatly to our Dubai team. 💸 🌍
