Diamond was a recipient of the Direct Support Professional Essential Piece Award at the recent The Arc of Illinois 74th Annual Convention. The following story, shared by a parent, beautifully illustrates Diamond's commitment to the kids he supports: "When a student broke a gift shortly after opening it, Diamond quickly made arrangements for the house staff to be covered and left. He was back within minutes with a new gift in hand from the only store open on Christmas, Walgreens. The gift was purchased with his own money and on his own time. He wasn't even working that morning, and he just wanted to be there to watch the boys open their gifts." Thank you, Diamond, for everything you do every day.
