Leading nationwide provider of substance use treatment offering a full continuum of care. #FreedomFromAddiction
About us
American Addiction Centers (AAC) is a nationwide, leading provider of substance abuse treatment, offering a full continuum of care. We take a holistic approach to addiction treatment — by addressing each client as a whole person. We work to consider how factors such as an individual’s lifestyle, environment, health, and co-occurring mental health disorders may play a part in his or her addiction to drugs or alcohol. We use evidence-based treatment approaches to help individuals struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders to overcome daily struggles and establish a healthy lifestyle. In addition to AAC’s comprehensive treatment approach that is offered in 8 states throughout the U.S., we also own and operate Addiction Labs, a laboratory tailored to meet the unique testing and monitoring challenges often faced in addiction treatment. Furthermore, we have three corporate offices with our headquarters located in Brentwood, Tennessee. American Addiction Centers is constantly building our brand and expanding our treatment services to meet the needs of those struggling with substance use and mental health disorders. In order to accomplish this, we need top talented professionals in all departments to help us not only achieve our business goals, but to also continue rescuing those battling addiction. We’d love to have your join our team! See our open positions at www.americanaddictioncenters.org/careers. Learn more about American Addiction Centers at www.americanaddictioncenters.org. As we celebrate Juneteenth today, it's crucial to reflect on the ongoing struggles and disparities still faced by the Black community. These challenges contribute significantly to mental health issues within the Black community. Black adults in the U.S. are more likely to report symptoms of emotional distress, such as hopelessness and sadness, which can lead to substance misuse. At American Addiction Centers (AAC), we recognize the importance of addressing these mental health challenges. We offer inclusive care for all and provide both inpatient and outpatient treatment options for substance use and co-occurring mental health issues. If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out. You are not alone. Read more here: https://loom.ly/8h9-AlA #Juneteenth #MentalHealth #Inclusion #AmericanAddictionCenters

For the first time since 2018, the number of overdose deaths across the U.S. fell last year, with preliminary figures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reporting roughly 107,000 deaths. Despite this progress, experts, including Dr. Michael Murphy, the Medical Director at our River Oaks Treatment Center, emphasize that the fentanyl crisis continues to demand urgent attention and additional resources. We are committed to being part of the solution and will continue to advocate for measures that address this ongoing public health challenge.
