    44 seconds⏳ That's the time limit to reach the goal on the UGC map "Save Your Last Jump" by "Ikkacu" (alpha tester). The crowd loved the challenge. Anime + platformer + leaderboard + PC/mobile access + UGC resonated loud and clear with the gamers. 🔥 Some even returned from yesterday to try again.     I am happy to share that we have reached PMF for a skill-based mobile-first game with strong UGC. We hosted a booth for #PlayX4 in S.Korea. Seeing the crowd pick up the game, enjoy, not wanting to leave was absolutely awesome. After rigorous testing with thousands of players across targeted and untargeted demographics, both offline and online, and in multiple countries, we reached to a conclusion: we have a live serviceable fun game. 🌟 Super excited for what will come next.     How I spent time in 2023 developing https://neonrunners.gg/ ? 🔄 Doubt➡️Playtest ➡️ Iterate➡️Doubt ➡️ Playtest ➡️ Iterate 🔄 In the bustling studios of Anykraft, where a team of 20 developers fuels creativity and innovation, one principle guides our journey—avoid early commitments. We firmly believe that until a feature is available on the target devices (mobile) and tested by our core audience, doubt should be our design companion. 📱4 Playtest Sessions in Q3 & Q4 2023 We conducted four playtest sessions throughout Q3 and Q4 2023, engaging directly with teenagers and mobile gamers—our core audience. Emotions were observed, behavioral data collected and analyzed, surveys administered, and video calls held. The result? Two core features, once deemed indispensable, took their exit. 🔍 Early Detection of Issues: Doubt as Our Greatest Asset! In the infancy of development, doubt stands as our greatest ally. Iterating proves to be not only cost-effective but a preventive measure against the potential cost of breaking a design pillar in the later stages. This is why Anykraft invests in top talent—to build fast and iterate even faster. 🌐 Core Audience - No Vanilla Gameplay Here! 🚀 While we value feedback, we recognize the danger of iterating endlessly, leading to vanilla gameplay.
