The 36th annual Summer Bike to Work (or Wherever) Day was in full effect in Fort Collins, CO, this morning, and we were proud to be among the 120+ participating businesses and organizations! More than 350 bikers visited our booth for free breakfast burritos, a chance to win cool Ayres merchandise, and an opportunity to learn about our company. Some of our staff also participated in the event on their bikes, enjoying the pleasant weather while taking the pedal express to work. #BikeToWorkDay

Our Madison, WI, office staff celebrated sweet success with their first Cookie-palooza event, which featured 17 varieties of cookies and bars for co-workers to enjoy throughout the day. Almost as diverse as the professional engineering, geospatial, planning, architecture, landscape architecture, environmental, and inspection services Ayres provides! #CompanyCulture

Reusing History: Among the creative and beautiful design touches at the nearly finished Sonnentag Event Center is the reuse of old bleachers from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire’s Zorn Arena, which are to be installed horizontally from floor to ceiling on three walls of the concession area of the new event center in the coming days. Zorn saw countless basketball games and the graduation of over 100,000 Blugolds. The Sonnentag will host basketball, arena football, volleyball, graduations, and concerts.
What will happen to the wood from the Zorn Arena bleachers?
