The National Park Service wants to hear your ideas for three historic concession locations on the Blue Ridge Parkway - Bluffs Lodge, Otter Creek Restaurant, and Rocky Knob Cabins. The NPS announced a Request for Expressions of Interest (RFEI) seeking responses from individuals, educational institutions, government agencies or entities, and non-profit or for-profit organizations, interested in the preservation and re-use of one or more historic facilities on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The facilities in this RFEI are all former concession operations, and include:   Bluffs Lodge, a 24-room lodge at milepost 241.1, near Sparta, N.C.   Otter Creek Restaurant and Gift Shop, a 57-seat restaurant and gift shop at milepost 60.8, near James River and Lynchburg, Va.   Rocky Knob Cabins, including seven rustic cabins, managers house, and shower house at milepost 165, near Floyd and Meadows of Dan, Va.   The complete announcement with links to the RFEI and instructions on how to attend information meetings are available by clicking below.
