Together with our dedicated project partners, local elected officials and residents, we recently celebrated the grand opening of Aspen Wood, a milestone that marked the culmination of hard work and collaboration. Aspen Wood provides 123 units of affordable housing to seniors in San Ramon, CA. Amenities at the 130,000 square foot community include a recreation deck/courtyard, fitness center, business center, community room and pet spa. Congrats to our Standard team! A couple of weeks ago, Stone Beam Development and our Co-Developer, DRE, Inc., closed on the acquisition and construction funding for Royalton Manor, a 109-unit Elderly Designated Section 8 Community in Superior, WI. A big thank you to our Co-Developer DRE, Inc, LIHTC Partner Boston Financial, TEB partner Citi, the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA), and all the local support we received from the City of Superior. This #affordablehousing development has already begun and will include eco-friendly modernization of all interior finishes and building systems. This milestone marks continued progress in our commitment to preserve and restore the housing for some of America's most vulnerable populations.

EXCITING NEWS! We're thrilled to announce the grand opening of Levant Senior Cottages, a brand-new affordable housing community in San Diego’s Linda Vista neighborhood! This groundbreaking development, brought to life by Wakeland Housing and Development Corporation in partnership with San Diego Kind, offers 127 homes specifically designed for low-income seniors aged 55 and older. Levant Senior Cottages is the first project to launch on land provided by the County of San Diego through an innovative initiative to repurpose surplus county sites for affordable housing. This is a monumental step forward in addressing the housing crisis and creating a brighter future for thousands in need. Our residents at Levant will enjoy a rich array of onsite services, including personal and professional development and social activities courtesy of Wakeland, alongside comprehensive medical and social services provided by St. Paul's PACE. These resources will be vital in helping our seniors lead healthier, more stable lives.
