🎣PORT CANAVERAL BOAT PARKING ANNOUNCED FOR 2024 RED SNAPPER SEASON: The Canaveral Port Authority expects high demand for boat trailer parking at Port Canaveral during the 2024 Federal Atlantic Recreational Red Snapper Season. This season opens at 12:01 AM on Friday, July 12, 2024, and closes at 12:01 AM on Saturday, July 13, 2024. Boat trailer parking at the Port’s Freddie Patrick Park and Rodney S. Ketcham Park boat ramps is free and available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity is reached. Boaters, whether parking at these ramps or not, can access the ramps to launch their boats and find parking elsewhere for their vehicle and trailer - See maps below. 🎇JULY 5TH FIREWORKS PARKING PLAN REMINDER: Public viewing for the fireworks display will be available in The Cove District and on the lawn of Exploration Tower at Port Canaveral. Parking in The Cove parking lot will be available at no charge for restaurant patrons until the lot reaches capacity. Additional designated parking areas at Port Canaveral will be available for the fireworks event at $15 per vehicle, cash and credit cards accepted. SHIP HAPPENS: Seeing a yacht at Port Canaveral is not unusual, but watching a yacht arrive on a vessel and hoisted into the water is another thing! Ambassador Services International (ASI) were the stevedores on the discharge of the 40-foot yacht. The vessel was loaded in Turkey and arrived on board the cargo vessel Pauwgracht.
