Last month, our Western New York clinical research team attended a festival celebrating Juneteenth. Despite record-breaking heat, they were able to meet with people in the community and spread awareness of the benefits of clinical research—with ice packs and freeze pops in tow! One of our Western New York site partners was involved in the early phase trials of a new treatment for hot flashes known as Veozah®.   In collaboration with our clinical research experts embedded within this site, the physicians who have trusted relationships with their patients, and the industry-leading pharmaceutical company that sponsored the trial, we were able to enroll participants and contribute to the medical understanding of this drug—ultimately leading to FDA approval.     Read more about this new treatment, the part we played in achieving FDA approval, and how we are supporting women's health and inclusivity in clinical research: https://lnkd.in/ecVaaAc5   #clinicalresearch #FDAapproval #womenshealth

Moderna recently announced that they have received FDA approval for their RSV vaccine, mRESVIA; it is their second mRNA product to receive approval.    Our team played a part in this incredible achievement as one of the participating research sites in the Phase 2/3 study for the vaccine. From Jose A. Flores, our Senior Site Director for our Northern New Jersey district, who led our research team in the study, “The team has been doing an amazing job...Our study team follows each participant for two years, starting with randomization. We achieved our success and recognition by Moderna because our research staff consistently followed up with patients with monthly safety calls, in-person visits, unscheduled illness visits, AEs, SAE, and weekly eDiary review completion.” We congratulate Moderna on this accomplishment and look forward to seeing more trials leading to the same outcome! At Circuit Clinical, we work every day to bring clinical trials to communities through our Site Partnership Network and our Remote Site Network—with the goals of expanding access to research and improving inclusion. Meet Amanda Tellefsen, Cynthia Pinargotte MD, BSN, RN, and Melba Ventura—they are part of our Northern New Jersey clinical research Team! Part of building an accessible community-based research program is accommodating patients from all backgrounds. This can mean offering transportation to study visits, having bilingual Team members, and working with each patient to create a flexible schedule that works for them—that's delivering real care. #RealPeopleRealCare

Gursimar Singh recently joined our Remote Site Network Team as a Clinical Project Manager to support access to decentralized clinical trials. Previously, she worked alongside Kelly Wettstein, our Lead Research Coordinator in our Hudson New York District, to guide participants through clinical research and make sure they have the best experience possible!
