Thank you, Congressman John Garamendi (D-CA08), for securing $166,279 in federal funds to support the Giant Roads Rehabilitation Project in San Pablo! “We truly appreciate Congressman Garamendi for supporting what many would consider a ‘boring’ capital project,” comments Capri Roth, Executive Vice President of Real Estate Development at EBALDC. “But it is these types of projects that support the long-term health of affordable housing that has near and long-term impacts on resident and community health, and keep long-time residents in their homes.” Lina Sheth, EBALDC’s Interim CEO, remarks “I also want to thank San Pablo City Manager Matt Rodriguez, Contra Costa County Supervisor John Gioia, YMCA of the East Bay President and CEO Fran Gallati, Giant Road Apartment resident Latonya Thomas, and our Property Manager CRISTINA BOWERS-SEARS for their support in our request to Congressman Garamendi. We know we can’t do this important work without the partnerships in our neighborhoods.” Read our full announcement below! Agnes Briones Ubalde Kuldeep Birdi D+H Construction
