Shout out to Rafael Hernandez, one of our Orlando branch’s Field Service Technicians, for his July I.C.E. Award nomination! Rafael received 10 different submissions across 4 different categories for this nomination, (wow!) and we’ve included a few of them below.    “Rafael is not only the best installer on the market, but he never misses an opportunity to not only help us in the branch, but tell us something as little as "Thank you.” There's never been a time where he’s ever said or done anything negative. He's genuinely a great person and the world needs more of him.”    “Rafi is consistently boosting team morale through his positive attitude. Between bringing donuts for the team to making his way around the building on a regular basis just to check in and see how everybody is doing, he is always doing his best to make sure we have a great day.”     “Rafael is an outstanding human being. Congratulations to Austin McKeen, our Sr. Install Coordinator in Marquette, for winning June's I.C.E. Award! Award. The workload he takes on is on another level, yet he still finds time to help anybody in this company with whatever they need. He's one of the most selfless people I know, and has been a rock of a teammate throughout my entire career with Easy Ice. Every department that collaborates with Austin would testify to his work ethic and character. I recently found out that no one on our fabulous install team has won the I.C.E. award yet, and immediately though of how deserving he is. Shout out to Andrew Lynes, one of our Refurb Techs in Charleston, for all the effort he's put in to earn an I.C.E. Award nomination! Andrew does a lot to make things happen, and the words from his colleagues below are just two of many examples of that.    “Andy actually fits EVERY category listed for our I.C.E. Award. It's difficult to pinpoint ONE reason why he deserves this award, because he deserves it for so MANY reasons. Most notably, he's taken our refurb area to another dimension!!!“   “Andy has taken on the refurb position with pride and superior workmanship. He always goes above and beyond to make sure he's creating a quality product to place out in the field. He's always willing to help out whenever and wherever he can. As Charleston's sole refurb technician, he's putting out numbers that meet our matrix goal! We are lucky to have such an amazing technician.” Andy, you know as well as anyone that our refurb process is an integral part of what makes us the ice machine experts, and we can't overstate how much we appreciate all you've done to elevate that process in such an important market. Thank you again—we are indeed lucky to have you!

Congrats to Rick Baker, one of our Charleston Branch's Sales Coordinators, on his nomination for June's I.C.E Award! Rick was nominated because he's the kind of guy to make things happen—always going above and beyond and modelling superior service for our customers. “Rick has been an amazing asset to the Charleston team, the NY team, and also the Sales Coordinator team. When Rick is asked to take on a task, he does what is asked and more! He has supported our FL team when asked without any hesitation. He has been a great resource for other coordinators when they have questions. When help is needed, he is always there to step up.” “Rick was assigned to step in as my temporary sales coordinator. Though we only worked together for a few months, I cannot express enough how impressed I am! He never complains or says he's too busy, no matter what he has going on! He doesn't make mistakes, does everything in a very timely manner, and does it all with a great attitude! What a gem they found in Charleston!!" Rick, we sure are lucky to have you on our team. Shout out to Catherine Chacon, one of our Chicago Branch's Work Order Specialists, on her nomination for May's I.C.E. Award! Catherine was nominated for promoting positive morale through her actions of good spirit. “Cathy does A LOT more than just closing out subscription and pay work orders. She's been instrumental keeping the Chicago Branch running smoothly, and is always quick to jump in and help whenever she sees a coworker getting busier than usual. Her reminders to the service department to get return visits for parts and follow ups help dispatch set routes efficiently. With a few new employees in the office, Cathy is always quick to welcome everyone and offer anything they may need during their first couple weeks on the job. Cathy is a delight to have in the office and her cheerful demeanor every day makes our office a brighter place.” Thanks for everything you do to keep things rolling in Chicago, Catherine!
