The American Group of Innovative Learning Environments (AGILE) Network launched this week with an incredible cohort of districts, charter schools, and nontraditional learning communities! A collaborative effort to increase the accessibility and pace of education R&D while elevating educator and student voice, the AGILE Network provides a centralized infrastructure and resources for engagement. Leanlab Education is thrilled to be leading this new initiative with Advanced Education Research and Development Fund (AERDF), building on our existing educator networks and working alongside partners across the edtech ecosystem including Digital Promise, ISTE InnovateEDU, and The Center for Education Market Dynamics (CEMD). PCSD recently attended a senior capstone presentation at Ednovate Inc’s Hybrid High, one of our Los Angeles-based charter school partners. Last week, our Ednovate team alongside students, staff, and parents from multiple Ednovate schools came together to speak and support Ednovate’s high school expansion efforts in Orange County. Speakers shared their experiences and the positive impact that our school community has had on their achievements. It was a valuable experience, showcasing the collaborative efforts that help us expand our impact and make our schools exceptional! #Ednovate

We're thrilled to welcome Katie Hart, COO of Ednovate Inc, to Seminar as our newest core member! Katie comes to Ednovate from the US Navy, where she focused on aviation operations, maintenance and training. Most recently Katie was a MH­60R Seahawk helicopter Instructor Pilot and Aircraft Commander. In her role as an Instructor Pilot, Katie developed a training continuum and curriculum for student helicopter pilots. Her vast experience gave her expertise in operations, project management, data management, and process improvement. Katie holds an MS in Global Leadership from the University of San Diego and a BS in Oceanography from the United States Naval Academy. In her role as Chief Operating Officer, Katie leads the support team as well as operations strategy, real estate search and acquisition, and facilities operations. Welcome, Katie! 🎓 📈 New blog from Lanira Murphy, Senior Director of Academics at Ednovate Inc Charter Schools: How can changing the report card game help high school students better understand their academic progress? This year, Ednovate introduced an innovative Whole Child Report Card across seven schools. This tool offers a holistic view of student progress, capturing critical skills like self-regulation, perseverance, and critical thinking. Students are not only engaging more deeply with their learning but are also actively seeking more data to understand their performance over time. A standing ovation for Ballet Folklórico de Esperanza as they captivated their audience at its annual performance presenting "Sueños Realizados" at California State University, Los Angeles. The program, led by Nacho Delgado-Hernandez, is an integral part of Esperanza College Prep's 9th and 10th-grade student experience. This year’s show incorporated choreography and attire celebrating the various regions and cultures of Mexico and also featured special performances from Esperanza's Jr. & Dance Company! ⭐ #Ednovate #EsperanzaCollegePrep

Recently, Ednovate’s six USC Teaching Residents — Hanna Crowe, Michael Hardegree-Ullman, Lorenz Argy Magnaye, Adrian Lopez, Jordan Tapia, and Mariah Lora — celebrated the completion of their yearlong program with capstone presentations showcasing their research and its impact on their teaching practice.
