Since last year, there’s been an increase from 27% to 40% of FWA service providers with speed-tariff offerings. ➡️ Leading service providers are deploying 5G mid-band nationwide to ensure consistently great user experience. Did you know enterprises in Sweden are realizing and testing new connectivity solutions thanks to early access to 5G functionalities through the NorthStar 5G network? 💡 An article in the June 2024 Ericsson Mobility Report takes a closer look at how Telia and AstaZero are seizing this opportunity to pioneer autonomous vehicle solutions and active safety systems 🚙 A few key findings from the article: ✅ Access to 5G technologies in a safe environment is proven to accelerate the development of safer and more sustainable transportation solutions. ✅ 5G technology – especially network slicing – has great potential to establish new standards for how different levels of autonomous vehicles communicate. ✅ The test demo conducted at AstaZero’s proving ground has demonstrated the capabilities of the 5G standalone network. Findings from our recent 10 Hot Consumer Trends report reveal the potential for AI to impact children's development and safety positively. 👦 78 percent of early adopters we surveyed, view the idea of an AI-customized caregiver becoming a reality, with the potential to propel children on a fast-paced learning trajectory and maximize their intellectual potential, and even AI assistants guiding children toward specific career paths chosen by their parents. Yet, 74 percent of consumers express concerns about the potential decline of human values, fearing that an excessive emphasis on AI-generated programs could diminish children's creative and emotional intelligence.
