Lucid has once again pushed the boundaries of electric vehicle (EV) technology with its 2025 Air Pure model, reaching an unprecedented 5 miles per kilowatt-hour (kWh) efficiency. According to Lucid, this milestone cements the Air Pure model’s position as the world’s most efficient car, delivering a record-setting EPA rating of 146 MPGe. The UK’s newly elected Labour government has approved three large-scale solar farms and announced plans to expand rooftop solar installations across the country. These farms, located in Suffolk/Cambridgeshire, Lincolnshire, and Rutland, will collectively generate 1.35 GW of power. According to a recent report by Rho Motion, global EV sales reached nearly 7 million units in the first six months of 2024, scoring a 20% jump from the same period last year. Yet, regional disparities in growth rates have become increasingly apparent. The stand-out performer is China, which emerged as the fastest-growing market with EV sales climbing up by 30% year-over-year to reach 4.1 million units.
