The popularity of different siding materials for newly constructed homes has varied dramatically over the past 50 years. According to data from the U.S. Census, in 1973, 35% of homes were finished with brick and 30% with wood siding. Then, vinyl siding started to dominate exterior home design in the mid-90s and has maintained its popularity ever since. Today, however, stucco dominates with 27%, with vinyl, used on 24% of homes, close behind. He took the backyard shed, holding tank for pool toys and garden tools, and transformed it into the home office many workers dream of. His new office features luxury vinyl flooring by lifeproof™, a The Home Depot brand, a MRCOOL mini-split system, and Sherwin-Williams paint. At this point, everything is painted with a base white but the Nicoles plan to add color when time allows. And lounge furniture is on its way. "There are still several finishing touches to be done like window casings, for example. But at the end of the day, it's a shed. And I knew that I could spend an endless amount of time trying to perfect things, so I opted to move in and finish the rest over time," says Evan. Click through to be amazed!
