Flourish Counseling & Wellness, a specialty group psychotherapy practice in the Chicago Loop & Oak Park, is seeking to hire a highly qualified, full-time clinician to join our team! Our mission is to provide counseling, advocacy and resources focused on perinatal mental health from fertility to pregnancy, through postpartum and motherhood. We envision a world where all women and families have the information and support they need to heal, connect and flourish. This position provides the opportunity for therapists to treat a range of issues directly related to women’s & perinatal mental health, including women’s health, family planning, infertility, pregnancy loss, fetal anomalies, mood disorders during pregnancy, postpartum & beyond, birth trauma, menopause, relationship issues and the parenthood journey. The clinician must be willing to work two evenings per week or one evening and Saturdays. This is a full-time, W-2 position (25 – 28 direct client hours per week). Applicants experienced in providing couples therapy, family therapy and/or trained in a trauma treatment modality, such as EMDR are strongly encouraged to apply. Interested?!? We're hiring a part-time BILLING SPECIALIST! Flourish Counseling & Wellness provides individual, couples, group therapy and medication management in addition to workshops and consulting services specializing in perinatal mental health and wellness. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate, timely billing and payment processing for services rendered. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical billing and coding as well as a knowledge of basic financial statements and budget analysis. This is a part-time remote role, located in Chicago with the flexibility of working remotely 25-30 hours per week. The role requires billing services, invoicing, client billing, accounting services, and excellent communication skills. On a day-to-day basis, the Billing Specialist will process claims, reconcile rejected/denied claims, send invoices, collect payments, and maintain accurate billing records. The role also involves liaising with clients to address billing-related inquiries, and with internal teams to ensure the accuracy of financial records. Qualifications ● One year minimum medical billing experience required ● Billing Process, Invoicing, and Accounting experience required ● Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with clients and team members ● Client billing experience including insurance billing is preferred ● Excellent organizational skills with the ability to complete tasks accurately and in a timely manner ● Experience in counseling or mental health practice is a plus ● Ability to work in a team-based environment and collaborate with others to achieve goals ● Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field ● Knowledge of medical billing and coding is preferred Benefits ● W-2 employee position ● Remote position ● Basic life insurance covered by practice ● 401-K ● Paid time off (sick leave and vacation) ● Support growth, professional identity and work-life balance ● A supportive environment that values self-care and collaboration ● Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience Job Type: Part-time; remote Hourly Compensation Rate: $22 - $28 per hour License: n/a Please submit resume and cover letter to Attn: Bridget Le, Practice Manager - bridget@flourishcounselingltd.com
