As the Youth Development Associate you will be responsible the development and coordination of youth activities, positive role-modeling for youth in areas of problem-solving and social skill development, working constructively with parents and other family members to foster youth engagement, and assisting with basic life-skills related training needs of clients and staff. Four Oaks is partnering with Foster SQUAD and 20 other nonprofits throughout Iowa to host over 20 holiday parties for children placed out of home. We had a great time at Pride Fest in Cedar Rapids this weekend! Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, asked questions, and shared your support for Four Oaks! It was amazing. Four Oaks President and CEO Mary Beth O'Neill saw her first Cedar Rapids fireworks show last night! Can you believe it? 🎆 It was a great event with great company including Mt. Mercy President Dr. Todd Olson and his wife, Regina Fitzsimmons. And of course, Mary Beth's husband, Palmer! We are grateful for our work with Mount Mercy University and the ability to offer nursing students a clinical opportunity!
