We are continuing in our testing of the Gogo Galileo HDX antenna! The new technology is being evaluated using a robotic arm, also known as a multi-axis positioner. This robotic arm emulates the movements of an aircraft, simulating conditions to test if the system can quickly adjust its antenna beam steering to maintain a strong connection with LEO satellites. During the testing, the HDX antenna dynamically moves through maneuvers like an aircraft would, including tilts, turns, and climbs. As testing continues, the engineering team aims to test it for extended periods and under various environmental conditions – just another example of our unique understanding of aviation requirements.
