About us
Hai Hospitality is a restaurant group based in Austin, Texas. Our restaurants include uchi, uchiko, uchibā, and LORO. We have restaurant locations in Austin, Houston, Dallas, Denver, Miami. We have a passion for creating food using the freshest ingredients in ways that defy expectations. We value culinary innovation with an approachable vibe. We strive to serve each and every guest with an attentive and knowledgeable staff. We have a passion for design and architecture that results in thoughtfully designed environments. Hai Hospitality was created in 2015 as a way to broaden the definition of who we are as a restaurant group, and to give each of the restaurants the space to create and cultivate their own identities. Hai Hospitality supports each restaurant in a variety of capacities so that each location has the freedom to grow while still being part of the bigger family—a family that has a common set of core values, a shared vision for food, service, and design, and a collective pool of knowledge and expertise that we can apply regardless of where we call home.

Uchiko is Now Open at Legacy West ✨ Uchiko, translated from Japanese means “Child of Uchi,” was developed as the second concept in the Hai Hospitality family by James Beard Award winning Chef Tyson Cole, renowned for his non-traditional interpretation of Japanese cuisine at Uchi Restaurants. Unlike its “parent,” Uchiko Restaurants takes a fiery turn, elevating smoke and char alongside the fresh and clean flavors of Uchi. 🔥 🍱The Menu The menu highlights the nuances and complexity of beef from Japan, Australia, and the U.S., complemented by a daily selection of freshly flown-in fish. 🥃The Drinks Rounding out the menu is the beverage offering, a notable selection of Japanese whiskies, sake, spirits, beer, wine, and a rotation of crafted seasonal cocktails. Restaurant Hours Sunday-Thursday | 4 - 10pm Friday-Saturday | 4 - 11pm Happy Hour Daily | 4 - 6pm 📍Welcome to #prismplaces

"The uchi food formula is simple: we get the very best ingredients and combine them in new and unique ways to make them even better. Food is usually best when you keep it simple." - @cheftysoncole #UchiRestaurants

Akadashi miso soup stands out for its use of red miso instead of the typical white miso. Red miso undergoes a longer fermentation process, resulting in a bolder flavor profile. This soup also features a fortified stock crafted from all the fish bones utilized during this omakase, aligning with the Japanese no-waste philosophy called 'Mottainai'. #OheyaByUchi
