I was thrilled to participate in today’s Basketball Capital Pro-Am youth basketball clinic, the first of four this summer. These clinics provide an incredible opportunity for youth not only to learn basketball from amazing coaches but to learn valuable life lessons — instilled through playing the game. Each clinic provides all participants with food, basketballs, and sports apparel at no cost.     I am so proud Hartford HealthCare is part of this community to support the Basketball Capital Pro-Am. Special thanks to Greg Butler and Eversource Energy for sponsoring these clinics and our many community partners and volunteers for donating their time to make this a tremendous success. #HartfordHealthCare #WeStandTogether

He led numerous facilities and services integration initiatives across the system. He served as Hartford’s regional Vice President for Operations and, from 2014 to 2015 as Hartford HealthCare’s Senior Vice President for Operational Integration and as President of the East Region from 2015 to 2017, where he led efforts to expand access for ambulatory services throughout the East Region. He has served as President of the Hartford Region since 2017, and assumed additional responsibilities for the Northwest Region in 2022. Cheryl Ficara, RN, Senior Vice President for Operations in the Hartford Region, will be President of the Hartford Region, and a Senior Vice President at HHC - the first female president of the Hartford Region.
