Harvard Hillel Rabbi Getzel Davis & Harvard University Imam Khalil Abdur-Rashid are bringing students together on campus. They want to prevent further division and initiate broader campus efforts toward unity - pledging to explore spiritual and ethical positions honestly and respectfully. These efforts led to the graduation benediction given by these two chaplains of different religions, which has never happened in Harvard’s history. Hillel at Baruch, along with the campuses it serves, has a handful of Jewish students participating in Birthright Israel Onward 🇮🇱 They had the incredible opportunity to volunteer at Tze’elim army base, where they helped prepare a barbecue for over 700 soldiers from the Oketz, Kfir, Golani, and Handasa units. While helping those who protect the Jewish nation, they had a lot of fun!

NYU will take important measures to address antisemitism on campus by creating a new Title VI coordinator position - ensuring the university responds adequately and consistently to claims of discrimination and harassment. This decision stems from a settlement reached during a federal lawsuit involving allegations of antisemitism on NYU’s campus. “We are committed to continuing our vigorous efforts to confront discrimination, including antisemitism, and the settlement in this litigation is yet another step in this direction,” said NYU President Mills. Happy 4th of July to all Jewish students, Hillel staff, and community members that celebrate! 🇺🇸 Jewish tradition includes a prayer for the government and those in public service roles, which recognizes that the well-being of the Jewish community is connected to the countries where we live. In celebration of July 4th, we are sharing the text of this prayer, and if it's meaningful for you, we encourage you to include it in your celebrations. "Our G-d and G-d of our ancestors: We ask your blessings for our country — for its government, for its leaders and advisors, and for all who exercise just and rightful authority." 📸: Hillel for Utah
