Jane graduated cum laude from Bates College with a B.A. in Spanish Literature and earned her J.D. from Northeastern University Law School. Her extensive legal career spans nearly three decades at GE Capital Corporation mainly as Corporate Counsel. Beyond law, Jane's commitment to education is evident through her teaching roles and volunteer work, including ESL instruction. This morning, we proudly celebrated the achievements of our five high school graduates at the Terry Hess Memorial Scholarship ceremony. We wish them all the best in their college journeys! 🎓🌟 Meet our 2024 scholarship recipients: - James Quispe: Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Mechanical Engineering - Bianca Nova: Sacred Heart University, Sports Communications and Media - Ashley Gutierrez: Skidmore College, Biology - Luis Caballero: University of Connecticut, Political Science - Jeferson Cardenas: University of Connecticut, General Studies The Terry Hess Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in April 2020 to honor the legacy of INTEMPO Lead Teaching Artist Terry Hess, who dedicated her life to nurturing young talent and fostering a love for music in our community.
