We're honored to celebrate the remarkable career of Jack Kosakowski, President and CEO of Junior Achievement USA, as he retires after 50 years of unwavering dedication! Jack’s involvement with JA began as a student in Toledo, Ohio where he received a Junior Achievement scholarship to attend the University of Toledo. Over the past 50 years, he has held a range of leadership roles with Junior Achievement and has been President and CEO of Junior Achievement USA since 2007. During Jack's time at Junior Achievement USA, over 124 million students have benefited from JA's positive impact. His influence has been crucial to the success of the organization and inspires our work here in New York. New York associates from East West Bank recently teamed up with Junior Achievement of New York to volunteer in a JA in a Day program at PS310K Elementary School. Located in Brooklyn’s Chinatown, the student body of this incredible school consists of over 85% newly immigrated students from China. The dedicated volunteers spent the day teaching four 4th-grade classes using the JA in Our Region curriculum, which introduces concepts of entrepreneurship, regions, resources, supply chains, and problem-solving. The students left with a greater understanding of entrepreneurship and a newfound confidence in their abilities to contribute to their community and beyond. Thank you volunteers! 💕 _______ #Volunteers #CorporateVolunteering #CSR #CorporateSocialResponsibility #EastWestBank #FinancialLiteracy #ImmigrantStudents #ImmigrantChildren
