Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have officially put their massive Los Angeles mansion on the market for $68 million. The lavish Beverly Hills property hit listing sites last Thursday, months after rumors began that the couple, who are reportedly estranged, were shopping the home around only a year after buying it for nearly $61 million. The roughly 5-acre property—which is in a gated community and spans a massive 38,000 square feet—includes an indoor sports court with an adjacent gym and games room. Built in 2000, the house has 12 bedrooms and a whopping 24 bathrooms. The resort-sized property has the amenities to match, including a V-shaped pool with views over the surrounding hills, a detached two-bedroom guardhouse and a 5,000-square-foot guest penthouse. https://lnkd.in/eEG-diip

This $30 million Rhode Island home comes with traitorous ties—it was originally owned by the grandfather of Revolutionary War turncoat Benedict Arnold. Located on Bulls Point in Jamestown, Rhode Island, the secluded compound has been in the same family for over 70 years. Set on 3.24 acres, the property comprises two buildable lots that currently house two dwellings containing two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. The main house, built in 1990, has 1,848 square feet of living area, plus over 300 square feet of decks and porch. The accessory outbuilding, which has a ground-level workshop and upper-floor office, was added in 1995. The cabin, built in 1890, is 289 square feet and has a gas fireplace, a full bathroom, a bedroom and a refrigerator. The main house has a New York City-style loft plan defined by walls of windows, skylights and polished concrete floors studded with glass blocks. Other features include 16-foot ceilings, 10-foot handcrafted Dutch doors and a wood-burning stove. The two-lot property comes with a slip and the rights to a mooring. https://lnkd.in/gbQNGP-x

For prime London sellers, this post-election period might be the moment to strike as wealthy and overseas buyers seek to make a move before the Labour Party’s promised changes to stamp duty, as well as the increased competition bound to come after an expected interest cut later this summer. “I think that there is a window and I think that there will be people looking to execute in that window,” said James Gow, head of London residential sales and head of Kensington sales at Strutt & Parker. “We will see a real hive of activity come September, when buyers return from holidays, but there’ll be some savvy buyers who want to get their deals done now.” https://lnkd.in/e6yEEcuy
