This week our Mexico Director Alma Caballero and the Europe practice led by Jérémie Gallon hosted in Brussels a small circle briefing to discuss the outcome of the June 2 Mexico elections and the key implications for geopolitics and trade in North America and Europe. Our Europe practice is closely analyzing the implications of the recent European Union Parliament elections and concurrent elections in EU member-states. "The results of the EU elections confirm two major trends that have emerged across Europe: an increased fragmentation and polarization of the political scene and a further shift to the right of the political spectrum; [but] these elections are not the radical change in EU politics that some predicted." To find out more and stay ahead on electoral projections, please get in touch with Senior Managing Director Jérémie Gallon and Managing Partner Ambassador Richard Burt, or contact us at the McLarty Associates page.

Our Europe Director Fran Burwell joined an Atlantic Council panel of experts to debrief the European Parliament elections and their expected impact on EU policymaking: “The center held in this election contrary to many of the overinflated headlines that we’ve seen about the far-right taking control […] Those in the far right are unlikely to be tapped for the kinds of roles that give them an actual policy influence” Watch the full conversation here: https://lnkd.in/eq_qkzWg

🎙️ PODCAST ALERT 🎙️ The European Council on Foreign Relations’ new G7 series is out! 📢 Join Alberto Rizzi and me as we discuss the priorities of the Italian G7 presidency.
