1 in every 4 people. That's who experiences a mental health crisis or illness during any given year, yet less than half receive treatment. Life in beautiful western Colorado can be challenging, with high rates of suicide and substance abuse. Mind Springs Health offers resilience and recovery throughout Colorado's Western Slope, providing mental health and/or substance abuse treatment and therapy to all ages. With a large and experienced team of psychiatrists, licensed therapists, clinicians and other mental health professionals, Mind Springs Health treats all types and severities of mental disorders, including depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, trauma, schizophrenia, bipolar, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and more. Last year a record 15,980 people were treated. Treatment does work. Outpatient offices: Aspen, Craig, Eagle, Frisco, Glenwood Springs, Granby, Grand Junction, Meeker, Rangely, Rifle, Steamboat Springs, Vail and Walden. Our therapists are also available in many of western slope schools and primary care offices. And, Mind Springs Health's TeleHealth network allows patients & psychiatrists to meet over a secure video connection regardless of where both are located. For psychiatric hospitalization, West Springs Hospital is the only psychiatric hospital between Denver and Salt Lake City, and the need for it grows. Because there are not enough psychiatric hospital beds in Colorado, West Springs Hospital, located in Grand Junction, serves the entire state as well as surrounding areas of Utah and Wyoming with its 32 beds. Children, adolescent, adult & senior services are available in the hospital. For those in crisis, there is a 24/7 toll-free hotline 1-888-207-4004, where one can speak to a live therapist immediately.
