We would like to recognize our Class of 2024 graduates for all of their hard work and dedication throughout their time as members of SCNO. Their unwavering commitment, energy, and drive to the organization have helped SCNO reflect and transform, creating an engaging student culture that inspires professional and personal growth while producing quality results for our clients. March was an incredible month for SCNO. To highlight... MARCH 11: Mid-Semester Meeting Our five teams presented their client proposals, identified the engagement objectives and intended deliverables, answered and received questions and feedback, and discussed the next steps. Additionally, our former SCNO President, Rebecca (Ma) Truba, was able to come as a guest speaker and share her experiences! MARCH 15: Bowling Social 🎳 Our members went bowling to get to know each other and enjoy St. Patty’s weekend! MARCH 28: Trivia Night 🎤 Our e-board members joined the Broad Senate’s Trivia Night to engage in the Broad community. With their wits and skills, they could full-score and win the 1st place prize of $200! MARCH 29: Sustainability Case Competition As a part of our new consultant training to improve casing skills, our new consultants entered the Sustainability Case Competition hosted by 180 Degrees Consulting. Their hard work paid off, and the teams won second and third place with prizes of $500 and $250! We want to congratulate Aastha walia, Aditya Kutty, Anitej Bhaskar, Aryahi Pachpande, Chirag Bhansali, Jaden Kim, Sehaj Marjara, and Shreyas Athreya for all of their hard work and dedication. And finally, our last client of the semester…Apple Playschools! Apple Playschools is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in Michigan founded in 2011 focusing on nature immersion. Through their three programs, Green Apple Garden Playschools, Manzanitas Spanish Immersion Playschool, and the Apple Scouts, they aim to help children immerse in nature, Hispanic language and culture, and summer camp. The Apple Playschools engagement focuses on strategically expanding funding to acquire and retain donors for a fourth facility. Meet the Team! Lovin’ the Skin I’m in is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Wisconsin founded in 2015 to empower girls of color through volunteering, networking, and developing individual talents. Development Alert is a registered non-profit organization in Uganda founded in 2019 to increase accessibility to clean water and education, support job creation, and improve the environment. Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) mentors the youth to help them realize their potential and build their futures and communities through connecting and fostering special bonds between children and adults. Introducing our first client of Spring ’24…Amazon Aid! Amazon Aid is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2010 to cultivate a cleaner gold supply chain while advocating for ecosystem preservation and human rights. The Amazon Aid engagement aims to improve online branding, conduct thorough market research to identify solutions to boost engagement with audiences in their 20s and 30s, and spread awareness through journalism.
