We optimize funding so home performance contractors can optimize projects.

About us

Building performance contractors are installing efficient systems, insulating homes, and educating homeowners. No one has the time to stay up to date with complex programs, identify incentive eligibility, fill out paperwork, and wait weeks - or months - to be paid. That’s where we come in. We optimize funding across local, state, federal, and non-profit incentives. We find the best financing plans and collect a payment from the customer. We immediately authorize verified installations so you get paid the full balance at the time of install. Leave it to us to track the programs and file paperwork.

Ops @ Hebbia AI (we're hiring!)

The past six months have been quite the whirlwind. I graduated from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, moved back to New York, and started a new company, Greenify. Since February, Guillaume and I have been looking into the home energy space: practically, what does it take to decarbonize our residential buildings? We’ve spoken to over 100 homeowners, 30 contractors, and spent weeks on job sites. We found people do care about being green, but when we’re talking about $10,000s of home updates, the upfront price tag has to be reasonable. We also found hundreds of funding options across the state governments, federal governments, municipalities, non-profits, and banking institutions that can make that happen. But that fund “stack” is a mess to navigate, and most contractors are already hugely oversubscribed. So today, we’re announcing Greenify. Greenify optimizes funding so home performance contractors can optimize projects. There’s no reason an installer needs to fill-in as financial advisor. And certainly no reason for them to take on funding risk. We’re excited to be starting in New York state, with more to come quickly. A huge thank you to Stanford's TomKat Center for their grant and support of the Greenify project. And of course to the contractors, homeowners, mentors, advisors, summer teammate (Matthew), and friends who support us on this journey, thank you. Onwards! Stay in touch: https://lnkd.in/eZQYBtfR
