The GridWise Architecture Council (GWAC) face-to-face meetings are productive and engaging. This Spring meeting was generously hosted by OATI in Bloomington, MN. Farrokh Rahimi and Ali Ipakchi led a great presentation on OATI's comprehensive set of energy industry solutions. This was followed by demos of tools for DER management, operations, and planning led by Jeff Anderson, J.D., Dave Stangler, John Lundstedt, and Mehdi Moghadasi. The Tour of OATI's Microgrid Technology Center showed off GridMind and an impressive optimization, not only between generation and load but between electrical, mechanical, and thermal systems. Your hospitality was much appreciated OATI, and thanks for coordinating Danah Ortaleza and Susan McGuire. Our guest speakers included Jim Jones and John Reinhart from Great River Energy where they discussed how they work with their members to enable the adoption and integration of DER in their service territory. Thanks Great River Energy, for loaning them to us for a few hours. Check back here for the videos that will be posted soon! https://lnkd.in/g99s82Q4 As usual, thanks to The Council for making this meeting a success!
