Omaha Public Schools offers a variety of career choices and opportunities. Omaha Public Schools is the largest school district in the state of Nebraska serving over 54,000 students in grades K-12. Our district has 83 schools and 13 alternative programs across Douglas and Sarpy Counties. Programs include Omaha Virtual School, Special Education and English Learners. Our district is the third-largest employer in the state, with more than 7,000 full-time employees who are involved in the daily operation of our schools.
