We're in Forbes this week! 🎉 But first, a little context... In many industries, when a customer buys your product or service, they then have to solve for a handful of "new problems" they didn't have before. 🏠 Rented a new apartment? Nice. Now you need rent insurance, a moving truck, furniture, and appliances. 🐶 Adopted a new puppy? Great! Time to find a vet, pet insurance, food, and toys. 🚘 Bought a new car? Congrats. You’ll need car insurance, parking, charging/gas, and accessories. It's essential to consider your customers' needs beyond your core offering. What secondary and tertiary needs arise after their purchase? Imagine your brand proactively solving for these complementary needs with a curated collection of pre-negotiated perks from vetted partners. You help your customers save money, time, and effort while cementing their appreciation, loyalty, and trust. Paylode is here to help. Here's a great recap of this dynamic from our friend, • Shep Hyken, a true customer advocate and CX industry expert https://lnkd.in/ef2bBGsJ #CX #Loyalty #CustomerExperience #Perks #Rewards

When we started Paylode to help companies launch & manage amazing perks programs, we were in for a ton of surprising discoveries. For example, while we initially focused on the real estate vertical, very quickly we started getting a ton of inbound interest from insurance companies that needed ways to better engage and reward their prospects and policyholders. Today, insurance is our fastest growing vertical, and we're excited to be powering Perks & Engagement Programs for 7 of the top-25 insurance carriers in North America, helping millions of customers save time and money on complementary products and services they need every day. However, running perks programs for insurance is no walk in the park. We work closely with legal counsel and industry regulators to ensure that our programs are aligned with regulatory guidance and strictly adhere to industry compliance models published by the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC). If you work at or run an insurance company (i.e. carrier, insurtech, brokerage, AOR, etc), and would like to learn about the benefits of launching an industry-compliant perks program, we have two options for you: 1. Take a look at our brief guide: https://lnkd.in/erft4RA2 2. Message us on LinkedIn, or connect with one of our advisors through https://lnkd.in/efvMYSs6 #insurance #insurtech #loyalty #retention

We built Paylode to help businesses of all sizes bring immediate value to their customers, beyond their core product/service, with the best Perks & Engagement programs on the internet. Our clients leverage Perks to reward desirable actions, which in turn drive core business KPIs (i.e. retention, renewals, LTV, repeat purchase, etc). 📈 Our friend, • Shep Hyken, a leading CX expert recently put us through the ringer on how exactly we make this happen. Tune in for a quick podcast on Shep's Amazing Business Radio below. 🙌
Customer Service and Customer Experience Expert | Keynote Speaker | NYT Bestselling Author | Shep helps companies deliver AMAZING customer service experiences!
“We live in an incentives-driven economy. If you want your customers to take action, think about what’s in it for them.” Do you need some fresh ideas on how to engage and incentivize your customers? Mikhail Naumov, founder, and CEO of Paylode on Amazing Business Radio, will open your eyes to a whole new world of possibilities. By offering customers something outside of, but related to, your typical value proposition, you uplift their experience. Every interaction with a customer is a chance to provide value. Businesses can take advantage of these opportunities by offering complimentary perks or rewards to engage, motivate, and reward customers for specific desirable actions. Plus, Shep and Mikhail discuss how companies in the B2B and B2C industries can best utilize customer perks and rewards. Tune in! https://lnkd.in/g3T79Jdj #customerloyalty #customerservice #CX

We've been following the drama with the #junkfeebill so you don't have to 🤓 It has a few different parts, namely that the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau wanted to lower credit card late fees to an $8 cap down from $32, which would save Americans millions of dollars on late fees, but opponents argue the companies would just make it up in other ways 💸 💳 Bank lobbying groups sued the CFPB in the spring. A Texas district court judge just granted a stay on the impending rule, which basically prevents the new rule from going into effect, as it would have on May 14. There is uncertainty about how this bill will or will not move forward 🤷♀️ Another part is the U.S. Department of Transportation proposed changes to aviation regulations that would have added clarity to extra fees and banned some, like the "seating families together" fee 💺 👨👩👧👦 💺 👨👦👦 💺 👨👨👧 💺 👩👧 = 💲 In the latest twist, airlines and aviation lobbying groups are taking a page out of the bank example and suing the DOT to prevent these new regulations from taking effect 🛩 Thanks to reporters like Allyson Versprille for keeping us updated. What do you think? Do fees need to be taken down a notch?
The US Transportation Department is facing a legal challenge from several major US airlines and their lobbying group over rules requiring disclosure of certain fees -- one of the first real tests of new consumer protections pursued by the agency. The final regulations, which the department has projected would save travelers more than half a billion dollars a year, require carriers and ticket agents to clearly communicate their extra charges up front for checked luggage and carry-on bags and for canceling or changing reservations. But Airlines for America -- a trade group for the airlines -- says carriers already provide those disclosures and that the new rules would just confuse consumers and complicate the buying process, whereas DOT says the regulations are needed to help passengers avoid surprise fees. The lawsuit was filed with the 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals by the group and airlines, including American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines and JetBlue Airways.
