I wrote this message while drinking coffee this morning, and I feel strongly that it is worth sharing. This team deserves all the recognition and gratitude in the world for their efforts. I truly am in awe of our global #TeamProtera. Also, if you haven't taken a moment to thank your IT team, please do so! " To: Protera All Subject: Today I put on a Protera T-Shirt Good Evening/Afternoon/Morning everyone! Today I woke up and put on a Protera shirt. I’ve done this before, so it’s not completely out of the ordinary, but today felt a lot different. We’re on the tail-end of a world-wide IT crisis that impacted our employees & business, our customers, and end-users everywhere. A lot of people are exhausted & worn out from giving it their all, but everyone has kept in good spirits and worked like a well oiled machine. That’s why we’re on this side, because everyone at Protera collectively crushed it. Every last one of you helped. Whether you were fixing servers, calling customers, taking phone calls, helping organize, or even just doing your normal job helping keep the lights on while everyone else was engaged, you played a huge role in it. Everyone I spoke to or heard about was rolling up their sleeves and grabbing a shovel or asking how they could help. These events happen rarely, and they are never how we expect to spend our evening/day/weekend, but they do happen. The way Protera handled this was different, and special, and it was watching us unleash that magic that has me sitting here today smiling. As the last bits get cleaned up, we’re seeing amazing feedback from our clients, team members checking in to see if they can help more, people preparing to continue with our regular weekend maintenance and activities, and everyone taking a moment to breath - I’m proud. I’m proud to be part of this amazing team, this amazing company, and an amazing group of people I didn’t realize I needed in my life. If I can ever help any of you in any way, please reach out to me. That’s why I woke up and put on a Protera shirt today. Thank you, all of you. Shane"
