PV Tech is a California-headquartered solar technology startup, with operating subsidiaries in Southern Sudan, Kenya, and Botswana. PV Tech's approach is to be vertically integrated: developing local markets for solar energy solutions, while growing an indigenous technology- and skill-base in the regions of operation. PV Tech is working on independent power production in Southern Sudan, and solar cell/module production in Kenya and Botswana.
