Scientists from our Fordham Immunoassay Resolian UK team including Tom Wilford and Richard Hughes have collaborated with Crescendo Biologics Limited to co-author a recently published paper in Bioanalysis. This paper addresses selectivity issues in ligand binding assays, using the Gyrolab system to quantify CB307, a bispecific Humabody, in human serum. The paper describes the development of a Gyrolab immunoassay for CB307, detailing strategies to overcome matrix effects and achieve selectivity at the desired sensitivity. This week I had the pleasure of taking 6 of our amazing Yr10 triple science students to Resolian in Fordham. They were given an overview of the business, and then they moved into the labs to take part in some pretty cool hands-on activities with some real life scientists! Huge thanks to Ellen and Sarah for organising the visit, and for giving our students a brilliant insight into the world of science and laboratory work. We hope this is the start of an ongoing partnership with one of our local employers We all enjoyed our gifts as well!! #careers #aspirations #science #businesslinks
