Shout to to Malinda Giebeler on this #TeamMemberTuesday ! Malinda is our Inside Sales Manager here at RMS Energy, and she works hard! She is dedicated to driving success and growth - both within her team and for our clients. She is committed to mentoring and motivating her team, fostering an environment where everyone can excel and contribute to our collective achievements. She is enthusiastic about exploring new methodologies to enhance our sales processes and boost efficiency. Malinda worked as an Applications Engineer in power generation for 11 years, she then transitioned into Sales & Estimating in 2018 at a custom-engineered original equipment manufacturer. After that, she switched over to the Field Services industry with all her experience and talents, which thankfully led her to her current role at RMS Energy! Her past experience of executing engineering proposals and projects honed her ability to quickly adapt and learn new concepts within sales. Working for an OEM provided her with firsthand experience of a company’s overall organizational process and the critical role sales plays in supporting the entire business. Malinda brings a data-driven approach to sales & estimating, leveraging analytics to perform research, forecast outcomes, and make informed decisions. Her engineering background has ingrained in her a problem-solving mindset that enables her to address pain points creatively and effectively. Every role she's held throughout her career has contributed to her current level of performance and has helped her evolve into the confident cross-functional collaborator she is today. I asked Malinda what she loved about RMS Energy, "I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of a growing company that employs some of the brightest minds in the industry. During my 2.5-year tenure, I've witnessed firsthand the impressive growth of RMS Energy, as we have opened several offices across the United States. The dedication of each employee to one another and to the business is unparalleled. When she's not in her home office, you can find her adventuring with her husband of 12 years and their two kids, aged 10 and 6. They love exploring Ohio and neighboring states in their travel trailer and taking part in activities such as hiking, fishing, and swimming. Malinda also plays trivia with friends and loves watching Jeopardy! At home, she enjoys cooking tasty meals as well as tending to her garden and pet parakeet, Max Flüf. We are so grateful to have Malinda on the team. Her knowledge and dedication play a big part in RMS Energy's success! Way to go Malinda!

When was the last time you had your iso-phase bus inspected? The primary causes of bus system failures are due to age and lack of ongoing maintenance. Over time, seals and gaskets break down causing moisture and debris intrusion, loss of insulating properties causes tracking and grounding issues, and bad connections lead to overheating. Bus system manufacturers recommend periodic maintenance, and often, insurance providers required them. If concerns are uncovered during inspection and maintenance, an engineered solution to mitigate the problems can be developed to improve the condition of the system and extend the serviceable life. #TeamMemberTuesday is spotlighting Bill Beese this week! WAHOO!! As our Director of Sales, this guy juggles a lot of responsibilities with poise and professionalism. "I wake up excited to see what the day brings because I know it’s going to be a different challenge every day!" Not only does he master his position, but he is constantly interacting and helping other teams with his expertise. (He's been in the industry for 35 years) To my benefit, he often puts on his Marketing hat and helps create awareness about who we are and what we do. Whether it be throwing together an event at a large industry conference, or pitching in ideas where we need them, Bill is on it with enthusiasm and knowledge. I asked Bill what he loves about RMS Energy, and his response was endless. "I’ve been on the team for over 4 years now so seeing where we are today compared to what RMS Energy was then, is amazing to me. Justin had a vision for where we should be and we believed in him and each other. He’s done an incredible job of getting the right people in the right positions." Bill grew up playing sports and eventually coached so he has placed a high value on teamwork. He says seeing how the RMS Energy team interacts with each other to serve our customers and each other is teamwork in its truest form! Another thing he loves about RMS Energy is that we truly do interact like one big family. "We respect and support each other every single day." And that's the truth! He agrees that one of the great things about RMS Energy is that we truly do put our customers first and do everything we can to solve their problems. "Finally, we’re extremely resourceful when it comes to solving those problems. Ike and his team are INCREDIBLE when it comes down to it. That’s another thing… our team in the field are simply THE best!!! Having that support really makes my job easy. And then there’s Teresa and her team in Finance/Accounting, Tim’s team in Engineering, Ken’s put together an incredible Safety/Training team, Brian and what he’s done with the Bus and PMO teams…. Sorry, we really do have THE best team in the business!!!" Couldn't have said it better myself! Bill really enjoys spending time with his family when he's not working. He's been married 35 years, has 4 kids, and 2 grandkids. He is also a travel junkie, with 32 different countries under is belt, and looking to add more to the list some day. Bill is also a huge fan of attending events... concerts, sporting events, car races, you name it! He wouldn't call himself a pro, but he also likes to golf. In his spare time, Bill is honored to volunteer for the Pro Football Hall Of Fame Enshrinement festivities every year. "Hanging out with some of my childhood idols is incredibly surreal!" I mean, what doesn't he do? We are so privileged to have Bill here with us at RMS Energy. He's a team player who's ambitious, committed to our values and an extremely hard worker. New month, new #TeamMemberTuesday ! Today we're shouting out Cristina Perez, our Talent Acquisition Manager. She's been super busy recruiting hardworking people to join our team, but I was able to catch a minute of her time. Let's learn a little something about Cristina! As a Psychology major in undergrad she knew she wanted to put that knowledge forward into the business world, and that's how she ended up in HR. Cristina went on to achieve a masters degree and fell into the industry, thanks to someone reaching out to her right here on LinkedIn! Cristina loves how recruiting and HR interlock, specifically as it relates to data reporting and analysis. She loves being one of the first people to introduce talented individuals to a new company when recruiting. She knows she has to feel a connection to the company and it's core values, which makes her a perfect fit here at RMS Energy. Cristina said "There’s a unique satisfaction that comes from knowing the individuals I help bring on board will play crucial roles in maintaining and advancing our power infrastructure. I really enjoy the diverse nature of doing recruiting in this sector, since you are constantly looking for different candidates to fill very niched roles. I love when I talk to a candidate that works in the field or is an engineer, and you can hear their passion for what they do." Cristina particularly enjoys RMS Energy because it allows for more a intimate and hands-on approach to recruiting. She does an amazing job at personally getting to know each candidate and understanding their aspirations and how they align with our mission. The ability to see firsthand how each new hire impacts the company's growth and success is super rewarding for her. She finds it incredibly noble to contribute to the power industry. "Being part of a team that ensures lights stay on, factories keep running, and critical infrastructure remains operational gives me a sense of pride and purpose." Well said, Cristina! There's not much she doesn't do. In her free time, Cristina plays the guitar, paints and LOVES soccer, especially when Spain is playing! She's very adventurous and will try just about anything thrown her way. She's been sky diving and even has swam with sharks! She says in another life, she would have been a chef. Cristina also told me that just adopted a baby Sheltie that takes up a lot of her time, but she adores him, so it's worth it. In conclusion...what a rockstar! Cristina has been a vital asset to RMS Energy and it's growth!
