Damali Grisham recently finished his Western Pennsylvania Chapter, NECA Workforce Development Internship with Sargent and has been accepted into the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local Union #5 JATC Apprenticeship Program! During his four-month internship working alongside our Pittsburgh Service Department, Damali gained valuable industry experience by working with our project managers and estimators. Our Pittsburgh Streetlight Maintenance Team had the privilege of honoring local Pittsburgh heroes who have served in the military by installing memorial banners as a tribute to their bravery. Building a safer tomorrow, today. We are excited to celebrate Construction Safety Week here at Sargent Electric. This week, and every week, safety remains our top priority. This year’s Construction Safety Week theme is “Value Every Voice” and is to emphasize the importance of listening to all perspectives involved in our industry to ensure that safety measures are implemented and met thoroughly. At Sargent, our goal is to encourage, listen, and empower through every project we undertake.

Bring Your Kid To Work Day was a day full of fun at our Sargent Office today. From construction themed bingo to designing their own hard hats, the next generation of workers had a great time learning about the work we do. We look forward to seeing you all again next year! #BringYourKidToWorkDay 

Happy Earth Day! Sargent Electric delivers leading-edge, sustainable solutions for our customers and applies the same principles to our business operations. This past weekend we joined NECA-WPA on a work project to clean up our beautiful city of Pittsburgh. Members of our Sargent team and their families gathered to collect litter and weeds from the downtown area. We are celebrating 100 years as a proud member of the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA)! Sargent joined NECA in 1924, 16 years after our establishment in 1907. Sargent has actively participated in NECA through the years and appreciate our partnerships with NECA and the IBEW to deliver projects nationwide. We get great support from our local NECA chapters and the national organization as we grow in this great industry and serve our customers. We appreciate NECA’s support through our first hundred years and look forward growing with our industry in the next 100 years as well!
