The Ray Geiger Chamber Champion Award is the highest honor given by the Lewiston Auburn Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, recognizing an individual who has proven to be a true champion of the Chamber, dedicating their time, energy, and resources to furthering the Chamber's mission and bettering our communities. Please help us congratulate Mark Adams, this year’s recipient of The Ray Geiger Chamber Champion Award. While serving as President and CEO of Sebago Technics, Mark maintained a steadfast commitment to his home community, giving his time and talents to the LA Metro Chamber and the Lewiston Auburn Economic Growth Council (LAEGC). He led both organizations through periods of transition, championing the Chamber's mission and helping to transform its ongoing focus and efforts. Mark's dedication to community leadership extends beyond his professional role. He has been actively involved in various boards and organizations, including the American Council of Engineering Companies and Central Maine Medical Center. His most recent role as Chair of the Lewiston-Auburn Economic Growth Council, after over 20 years of service, highlights his long-standing commitment to our community. Mark has worked alongside every Chamber President since the early 1980s, helping to guide LAEGC into a cohesive vision aligned with the Chamber’s mission. Mark's tenure on the LAEGC board, along with his leadership as Chair, has helped guide the Council into a vision. He worked in collaboration with the Chamber's current President and CEO to ensure the Chamber and LAEGC strategies were aligned with the overall mission. Mark is someone who thinks deeply, and when he speaks, you listen. His ability to connect the past with the present and not just embrace change, but encourage it, is exactly what our community requires. Mark's heart is aligned with the mission of the Chamber, and he has worked tirelessly over the years to keep that vision at the forefront. Please join us in celebrating Mark Adams for his outstanding contributions and well-deserved recognition with the Ray Geiger Chamber Champion Award! 👏

What a fantastic way to kick off the summer with our annual cookout! Our legendary grill master, Brian Farrell, came out of retirement to cook up some delicious food, and he did not disappoint. Despite the record high temperatures, it was wonderful to come together, enjoy some great food, and celebrate the start of summer as a team. Here's to many more sunny days and fun times ahead!
