    ❌ Replacing humans 100% with technology is not the answer to your sales process issues.     Old sales methodologies like MEDDIC and BANT had their time, but it’s 2024. Our buyers deserve better. MEDDIC was introduced in 1996, and BANT was introduced even earlier in the 1950s. These methodologies were effective for sellers… in their time. If you’re still using a methodology created before the Internet even existed, chances are your buyers are frustrated.     By 2022, only 25% of teams reported hitting their outbound goals, and in 2023, it dropped to less than 20%. Sound familiar? Outbound sales isn’t broken, and the proof is in the past. In the early 2000s, cold calling and one-to-one emails ran outbound sales. Building personal connections may have been more time-consuming but it led to high conversion rates and strong customer relationships. In the 2010s, automated Sales Engagement Platforms (SEPs) took over, allowing sales teams to reach larger audiences with less effort. This worked for a while. A quantity-over-quality focus led to impersonal and generic messages, increased unsubscribe rates, and a general sense of distrust toward sales communications. Now, it’s time to shift back. Personalization is possible for a modern outbound sales strategy, but the question in everyone’s mind is: is it scalable? The trick is to balance efficiency with effectiveness, approaching your strategy from both sides:  💻 Technology: Sales teams can use advanced AI tools to analyze data, identify key prospects, and conduct research in minutes to customize messages for individuals. 🤝 Human Touch: AI alone won’t rebuild customers’ trust in sales teams.
