Congratulations to our Senior Marketing Specialist, Jasmyn Flores, who was awarded a membership scholarship by SMPS Seattle! The SMPS—Society for Marketing Professional Services is the only organization focused solely on the professional development of marketers, business developers, and communications professionals in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industries. Jasmyn is an active member of SMPS Seattle, which is the organization's largest chapter. She is part of a Roundtable - the Marketing Misfits - which meets monthly to share knowledge on topics ranging from proposal management, to public speaking, to the importance of getting a good night's sleep! Jasmyn is also a member of the chapter's Education Committee, which offers learning opportunities nearly every month of the year. Open to SMPS members and nonmembers alike, these include in-person and virtual events promoting best practices in the AEC marketing field. You can often find Jasmyn "behind the scenes" helping ensure these events run smoothly and all participants have a positive experience. The Hermanson team is honored to have received an SMPS Seattle Reign Award at last night's event! We were recognized for the impactful 'Unlocking the Future: Celebrating Women in Construction' event we hosted earlier this year.
