Working for the Care Clinic: The Summit Community Care Clinic is a great place to work and resides in a wonderful community to live in. Full time employees are eligible for purchase of medical, dental vision, life insurance, AD&D, long Term and short term disability, Aflac Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Insurance. Up to 3+ weeks of paid time off after a year of service, paid holidays. Employees who work at least 1000 hours and have a year of service can enroll in the 401k with Safe Harbor match. All employees, including part time, receive discounted medical and dental clinic services. The Care Clinic is a certified leader in work-site wellness with programs including weekly onsite yoga, Pilates, shared ski pass use and recreation center membership discounts. Continuing education and extensive training opportunities are also provided to help build knowledge and experience. The Care Clinic uses extensive technology system infrastructure for staff with fully digital EHR (Electronic Health Record) and streamlined platforms. Our School Based Health Clinics are located in both Lake County and Summit County schools. In 2016, the Care Clinic served over 7,000 patients with over 23,000 primary, dental and behavioral health visits. Patients are primarily from Summit County but also include patients seeking services from Eagle, Lake, Grand, Park and Chaffee counties. All Position information: Any direct patient care position may be required to work in any location of the operations including any Summit or Lake County site at anytime if business needs arise. All efforts to accommodate employee restrictions and schedule requests will be made, but emergent needs may override primary work schedule and locations. Position may be located at: 360 Peak One Blvd. Suite 100 Frisco, CO; SCCC Admin Office in Frisco on Hwy 9 or at one of our School Based Health Clinics in Summit and Lake County. Salaries are commensurate with experience.

Today, NACHC released the following statement from President and CEO Dr. Kyu Rhee, MD, MPP, on the March 8th funding bill: “On behalf of 1,487 Community Health Centers, which serve over 31.5 million or 1 in 11 people across our country, we applaud the bipartisan leadership for extending and increasing funding for our nation’s largest primary care system and making key investments in the National Health Service Corps and the Teaching Health Center Graduate Medical Education program. “Health centers face significant challenges due to increased costs, a shortage of health care workers, and substantial changes in Medicaid enrollment, and this level of funding represents the largest increase in many years. It will help support the greater access for health center patients in rural, urban, island, and frontier communities, and support the next generation of primary care clinicians and their teams. We urge Congress to adopt the Consolidated Appropriations Act and look forward to working with both sides of the aisle to build on this funding in a robust longer-term health package before the end of the year.”

The SBHC - PSR is the first point of contact between students and their families, and our School Based Health Center services.
