While in New York, CEO Denis Kelly and COO Robert Rogalski visited several sites in the area. The local management team, including Regional Manager Juan Isales and Operations Manager Eileen Poole, introduced them to many individuals who are known for providing excellent consumer service, working well as a team, taking pride in their job, keeping the environment safe, and consistently receiving great feedback from the clients. It’s always great when our company leaders can express their gratitude for all they do in person. #Leadership #GreatWork #SecurityOfficers #SecurityServices #SunstatesSecurity #SecurityTeam #Team #Security #CorporateSecurity #SecurityPersonnel #NewYork #NewYorkBusiness

Last month, Regional Manager David Holden presented during the DC region's quarterly supervisor meeting. Topics discussed included existing policies and procedures, recent industry changes or legal updates requiring adjustments, and answering questions from supervisors to ensure consistent implementation by security personnel. Having in-person meetings such as these improves the team's culture, communication, and overall engagement and is a great example of our hands-on management approach. #CompanyEngagement #Culture #Security #CorporateSecurity #GoingAboveAndBeyond #SecurityPersonnel #SecurityCompany #CompanyGrowth #SecurityTeam #SecurityServices #Leadership #DC #DCMetro #DCBusiness #Maryland #MarylandBusiness

A job well done to Supervisors Earl Bradley and Ronell Williams of the Savannah region. In late May, while conducting a routine patrol of a local square, Supervisor Earl Bradley observed a female attempting to wake another female who was lying unconscious on the ground. Supervisor Bradley realized the woman was not breathing, and he and another bystander began CPR while another bystander called 911. Moments later, Supervisor Ronell Williams arrived on the scene to assist with crowd control and to direct medical personnel to the area. EMS arrived on the scene and was able to get the woman in stable condition prior to transporting her to the emergency room. Supervisor Bradley’s and Williams’ superb vigilance, quick thinking, and ability to remain calm under pressure directly resulted in a life being saved. Shout out to multiple officers in Ohio and Michigan. Thank You/Appreciation cards were handed out to two team members in Columbus, Ohio. First, Officer David Painter for helping fill shifts during the recent start-up at a large distribution center. Second, Officer Ahmed Abdi, for working a holiday when another employee could not make it with short notice! Thank you to both team members for your dedication. Additionally, a great picture was taken by our client in Jackson, Michigan, of our site manager, Crishaunda “Shawn” Murphy, as she pulled the fire alarm for a drill conducted today in conjunction with the client and local authorities. The client stated, “Shawn is an absolute joy to work with. She brings a positive attitude to the workplace and makes everything run smoothly.” #GreatWork #SecurityOfficers #SecurityServices #SunstatesSecurity #SecurityTeam #Team #Security #CorporateSecurity #SecurityPersonnel #EmployeeEngagement

Our recent Veteran Salute recognized Joseph Blevins, Site Supervisor: Dover, DE. In February 2020, Joseph joined Sunstates working at a large government building. He was nominated by the management team in the Philadelphia region for the Veteran Salute due to his profound demeanor and diligence. Joseph spent 24 years in the Air Force in roles that helped build his valuable skillset and gain knowledge that would help him in his future career in the security field. As an Air Transportation Craftsman, Joseph was responsible for ensuring that cargo and passengers were transported safely and quickly. Other tasks were at the command/control center, sometimes coordinating with over 300 aircraft a day. Additional positions held were Air Advisor Training Instructor, in which he spent 6 months educating teams in Afghanistan, and as a Duty officer, having 350 individuals under him. When asked what he likes about working at Sunstates, Joseph stated that he enjoys the structure at Sunstates Security. He said, “It’s close to home,” comparing it to his military career. Working at a Government center, he must always be vigilant about what is going on around him.
